Description
Passive House Polyurethane Waterproof System is a water
insulation and coating material which is polyurethane based, one component,
liquid, ready for use, high-durable and can be walked on.
Product spefications
• It is resistant to
pedestrian traffic with its mechanical resistance.
• It is resistant to plant roots.
• It is not soft in summer, it does not toughen
in winter.
• It is resistant to heavy weather conditions and chemicals.
• Its adherence is high.
• It is perfectly adheres to old coatings.

• Comfortable application with airless spray or
roller.

• It
penetrates very well into the surfaces. Ready to use, liquid.
Surface preparation
• The surface of the application areas should be clean, dustless, durable.
• Layers decreasing adherence such as oil, grease, dirt, cement slurry, rust, form oil and efflorescence.
• Should be cleaned completely before the application. Possible cracks and faults on the surface should be fixed carefully with CORURM-THIN repair mortar. After the surface is ready, lining is applied.
• For the polyurethane coating to be applied on top, the pores on the surface must be completely closed.
• CORUPU LINE can be preferred as a lining.
Application
• It is a ready material, does not require heating and thinning.
• The material should be applied after mixing well.
• Gloves must be used during application.
• It is applied with spray, brush or roller.
• Final curing takes place in 5 days.
• At least two layers of application must be made.
• At least 12 hours must be passed before the second application.
• Should not be applied in wet weather or at temperatures lower than (+) 5°C.

• In horizontal terraces, roofs, balconies and parking lots.
• For the insulation of wet area.
• In the eaves trough, rebates, canalette and terrace roofs.
• To protect polyurethane foam applications.
• In water tanks, cold storages and wet areas.
• In the pools.
• In the modifications of old water insulation.
• lining as a water insulation product.
Storage
• Three times as much piling as can be done in original packaging.
• Keep in dry and indoor places.
• Please take necessary precautions against
extreme weather conditions, water, humid and frost.
• Keep in temperatures between +10 and +25 Celsius degree and dry places.
• Faulty bucket or package should be untouched
and returned.
• If the
warehouse conditions are followed, storage life is 12 months.
Packaging and consumption
• CORUPUR is available in 25KG bucket
as liquid.
• It is produced in grey color. For other colors, contact us.
• Consumption is 1.2-1.7 kg/m2.
According to the application technique and the absorber of the surface, the
rate of consumption is variable.
For exact consumption, controlled
sample is recommended The proportions given here are just theoretical and may
be changed depending on the application techniques.
Warnings
• New applications must be protected from rain and frost for 24 hours.
• In the applications exposed to sun rays, the thickness must be at least 1mm.
• Do not apply in the rainy, foggy and under +5°C.
• Do not apply on the frozen and wet surfaces.
• Pay attention to safety signs and warnings on the package.
• Comply with the health and safety regulation forms indicated in MSDS which have been prepared by the certified technicians and International standards for the product (EC-Directive 2001/58/EC).
• Keep under enough air conditioning level.
• Prevent from fire and high temperature. Blend well before the process. Do not keep the package open.
• During the rain and under the possibility of rain, do not apply.
• Avoid any contact with skin, eyes, and mouth and take necessary work safety procedures.
• Do not apply in the temperatures under +5°C and above +30 °C and do not use frozen material by adding water.
