Description
Basalt, an inorganic raw material that is domestically sourced, is used to make stone wool. It is made by heating basalt to between 1350 and 1400 degrees Celsius and then spinning the molten rock into fibers. According to the intended application and the location of usage, it can be produced in the shapes of a blanket, board, pipe, or loose item in a variety of sizes, with various technical characteristics, and with various facing materials. It is utilized for fire safety, acoustic comfort, thermal insulation, and sound insulation. It is produced in the plants that hold the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 50001 Energy Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificates provided by Bureau Veritas.
